Mission:
We are looking for an Environmental/Safety Supervisor that can work in a fast-paced manufacturing/automotive environment.
Essential Functions of Role:
- Sound knowledge of ISO-14001 and the ability to obtain and maintain the certifications necessary for the facility to meet all customer needs.
- Sound knowledge of OSHA regulations, Workers’ Compensation and all safety related legislative requirements.
- Sound knowledge of all Federal and State Environmental regulations, Air Quality, Water, Hazardous Waste, Pollution Prevention, Sampling and all environmental related legislative requirements.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent degree in safety, environmental, ergonomics, business, human resources, or a related field
- Eight to ten years of experience in Safety or Human Resources field, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Physical ability to work in plant environment.
- Physically able to operate computer terminal.
- Physically able to travel in U.S. and foreign countries.
- Physically able to work long hours.
- Ability to work and move around freely in a manufacturing environment.
